The aim of this course is to provide the attendees with the knowledge and skills to understand the operating sequence of an oil-fired burner and how to diagnose any potential faults before they arise. 

This course has been developed for technicians who are experienced with working within the heating industry who are looking to further their knowledge on domestic oil burners, how they operate, using test equipment, and testing for faulty components. 

The Oil Burner course is a paid-for course and will require payment of £50 per person to secure a space. Those who sign up can feel assured that it will be money well spent as the course will cover all areas associated with domestic oil burners.

The course content will consist of:

• Basics of combustion 
• Sequence of operation 
• Fault finding 
• Basic multimeter instruction 
• Test of burner components 
• Flue gas analysis 
• Burner commissioning
