2025 was a standout year for Grant, defined by innovation, progress and collaboration. With the combined efforts of our team, installers, merchants and customers, we continued to lead the way in sustainable and renewable heating solutions, including energy-efficient heat pump technology. Here are some of our highlights from 2025;
The launch of the Aerona R290 air source heat pump
At the beginning of the year, we officially launched our most innovative heat pump, the Aerona R290 air source heat pump, further demonstrating our continued innovation and dedication to delivering sustainable heating solutions. The Aerona R290 has received multiple accolades including awards for Outstanding Innovation and Heat Pump of the Year 2025, where judges praised its bespoke design, ability to address high moisture level climate conditions and described the range as being in another league in terms of innovation and efficiency.
Designed specifically for the Irish and UK climate and built around three core pillars - design, performance and peace of mind - the Aerona R290 delivers exceptional performance with quiet operation and an environmentally friendly heating solution for the next generation. Using the highly efficient natural refrigerant R290, which has an extremely low Global Warming Potential of just 3, the Aerona 290 heat pump represents a significant step forward in sustainable home heating and is a key feature within all Grant Integrated Heating Package Solutions.
All Grant Aerona R290 heat pumps can be monitored and managed remotely using the Aerona Smart Controller, which gives added peace of mind to homeowners. This seamless remote access is also beneficial for local authorities, councils, housing bodies, and large developers, offering real-time insights and heating performance monitoring.

Attended a wide range of events and trade shows
Throughout 2025, the team were as busy as ever, attending events and trade shows right across the country. From Selfbuild Live in locations throughout Ireland to the National Ploughing Championships, and many more in between, we enjoyed speaking with so many people about our wide range of heating technologies.
The National Ploughing Championships is one of the biggest events in our annual calendar, attracting over 225,000 visitors across three days, and one the Grant team thoroughly enjoy attending. Alongside showcasing our wide portfolio of heating technologies, the team spoke to attendees about the latest developments in sustainable home heating technology, HVO biofuel and its role in the future of home heating and how to maximise efficiencies with fully integrated heating solutions.

Training
Our training courses continued to be popular amongst heating installers, plumbers, BERs Energy Assessors, service engineers and architects, throughout Northern Ireland and further afield. All courses are available online through the Grant eLearning Academy, and onsite at our state-of-the-art training facilities at our headquarters in Birr, Co. Offaly.
This year, we launched two new online Grant training courses for plumbers, installers, and merchants through the eLearning Academy and continued to deliver CPD courses to professionals throughout the country.
