Highly Efficient Oil-Fired Condensing Boilers
What are Condensing Oil Boilers?
Conventional oil boilers and condensing boilers worked by a boiler being wrapped in a container of water, this water was then heated and the resultant steam provided heat. The problem with this type of oil boiler design was the loss of heat via the flue. Unlike traditional oil boilers the Grant Vortex condensing boiler has a built-in stainless steel heat exchanger incorporating Grant’s unique turbulator baffle system, which cools the gases to a point where the latent heat, normally lost to the atmosphere through the flue, can be usefully extracted. This results in the captured energy which would normally be lost reused for a more efficient boiler. This efficiency directly results in lower running costs to the end user.
Grant condensing oil boilers are easy to install and commission
The key to a successful reputation within the heating industry is to provide a first class product. That’s why at the time of installation all Vortex Condensing Oil Boilers are commissioned and ensured that they are working at peak efficiency. This ensures that Grant Oil Boilers (condensing) remain reliable for the long term and will have very low running costs.
Grant condensing oil boilers are easy to maintain
GRANT have factored into our condensing oil boilers easy access to the burner and internal serviceable parts for easy maintenance. This allows our boiler to be fitted or sited in the most efficiency and tidy manner possible.
Pluming (steam release)
A plume of steam which can be seen escaping from the flue terminal of a condensing boiler simply means that the boiler is working effectively thanks to cool flue gas temperatures. The steam that is produced is the product of our extremely highly efficient condensing oil boiler. The flue, by standard, is low level balanced but high level or vertical flue kits are also available which will allow this plume to be moved to a higher level.
Installation of a oil condensing boiler
Installation must comply with the current Building Regulations. Comprehensive technical information can be found in the installation manual, supplied with every boiler. All burners are supplied factory set at the stated output for use on standard grade Kerosene – Class C2. GRANT Vortex Condensing Boilers are not suitable for use with Class D gas oil.
